Cole McDonnell has had the pleasure of serving the South Shore and Cape Cod area as a carpenter for over 15 years. From a young age he was attracted to the residential construction industry; the alchemy of taking simple parts and creating meaningful spaces for people to call home. Working on high end New England homes; including new construction, remodels, and historical preservation, Cole used this time to develop his skills, evolve as a carpenter, most importantly as a project manager. At Cole McDonnell Carpentry we specialize in custom homes, high end finish work, custom built ins, and finding useful solutions to the many situations that arise during the course of a home project spanning all trades. We approach each project with a mindset based around executing a practical yet pleasing aesthetic.

As a licensed general contractor Cole aims to call upon his years of experience using creativity and technical skill to seam together the trades involved, to create a feel-good experience and build custom homes. Home building is an extremely personal and emotional experience, it takes good communication, sensitivity, and compromise to maintain the partnership between homeowner and contractor through the duration of a project. This is something Cole McDonnell Carpentry delivers on.

Cole resides at his home on Cape Cod with his wife Christina and son Atticus, where he enjoys quick dips in the ocean and mountain biking with his son.
